The 50th Anniversary of the Death of C. S. Lewis
As media hacks bring out all the bells and whistles in their eager efforts to reinvent, re-frame, and then endlessly regurgitate the phony Camelot image of our 35th President (while studiously ignoring the Left-wing, Communist credentials of his assassin) let us turn away from such flimsy paper-mache portraits and ponder instead the honest persona of a humble soul who needs no public relations campaign to hawk his authenticity. Continue reading
Michael Mann Mocked: The National Review Strikes Back
Rich Lowry, editor of the National Review and one of the defendants in a civil lawsuit brought by Michael Mann—you remember the Chicken Little Professor of Earth Science at Penn State—took out a full-page ad in the university’s student newspaper, The Daily Collegian. Mr. Lowry offered up a tongue-in-cheek congrats to the Hockey Stick Holy Mann for the Nobel Peace prize the Prof has falsely claimed as his. Continue reading
Aborigines Tell the Left: We Are Not Museum Pieces
Down under in the vast open space that is Australia, there has been an ongoing controversy over the right of aboriginal people to develop their land. In the Kimberley region of Western Australia, the native people have successfully negotiated to have a gas plant built along a section of their shoreline. The plant will bring jobs, housing, schools, etc. for a total package worth $1.5 billion for the aborigines. Sounds like a great deal, but…. Continue reading

Nonsensical Science: Dinosaurs Farted Their Way to Extinction
Just when you thought that modern-day ‘science’ could not possibly sully its reputation any more than it already had by clinging to the marred mathematical models of its revered anthropomorphic climate change catechism, along comes another dynamic duo of taxpayer supported prima donnas proclaiming to a climate weary world that dinosaurs farted their way to extinction. Continue reading
Earth Day: May the Farce Be With You
As the oh so holy hordes of sanctimonious save-the-planet true believers gather together to celebrate the sacramental fecundity of our blessed Gaia’s wondrous womb, let us shift our starry-eyed progressive gaze just a little to the Left of Eden where the flesh and blood daughters of Mother Earth’s labor face the forcibly aborted fruits of their maternal behavior. Continue reading
Green Jobs: It’s A-Happening, Man!
Get out your resumes, boys and girls, and get ready to turn on and tune in to the psychedelic Green Jobs Fantasy Fare. It’s A-Happening, man! Unemployed? Not to worry, Green Jobs will magically modify that sinking gut, no-pay-day dilemma. Got to earn your keep but can’t stand the capitalist creeps? Well, be of good cheer, my socialist buddies, for the government Green gimmick will pay big bucks all siphoned from the toil of tax-paying foils. Continue reading

Earth Day: Holly Maddux Remembered
In remembrance of Holly Maddux, I offer up a little haunting history lesson from the Philadelphia archives of the earth first phenomenon…Earth Day is celebrated each year on April 22nd which coincidentally turns out to be the birthday of Vladimir Lenin, the progenitor of the Russian communist revolution. The first Earth Day was celebrated in 1970 during the heyday of the drug-infested counter-culture, just when the depiction of America as Archfiend was grinding into high gear. It was a happening, Man! Continue reading
Deer Culling at Valley Forge and the Silly Sobs of Sympathy
Sharpshooters have killed 600 white-tail deer since November as part of a 4-year culling program at the Valley Forge National Historical Park located in the western suburbs of Philadelphia. Taking steps to address the deer overpopulation problem that has plagued the park for years now, the National Park Service has had to face down stiff opposition to the culling program from animal rights groups. Continue reading

Lighting Up Our Lives: The War of the Bulbs
Hark! What light through yonder window breaks? Well, if Republican Senator, Mike Enzi has his way, it won’t just be the rays of LED light bulbs shining through the welcoming windows of America’s homes. With republicans feeling their ornery oats this congressional session, the incandescent light bulb just might continue to brighten up our lives. Continue reading

Progressive Cranks and the Gaia Gestapo

The Pseudo-Science of Gaydar
There’s a so-called scientific study that’s been released claiming that us homosexuals are much more analytic and perceptive than our less endowed heterosexual brothers and sisters. This latest load of medical malfeasance proffered to the public as ‘science’ is a research study conducted at Leiden University in the Netherlands. Continue reading

Mother Goose Combats Global Warming?
The Department of Energy and Climate Change, a UK governmental agency created in 2008 to save the planet from the scourge of human habitation, believes that part of its mission is to dish out a daily dose of indoctrination to all the good little UK kiddies. Continue reading

Green Jobs: Blowing In The Wind
Remember when sun power was all the rage, when the vaulted vision of alternative energy addicts was seen through the spectrum of solar slabs lambasting our US country side? Well, I’m sure the rainbow rays of El Sol still retain their bright spot on the green gauge of politically correct illumination. But now it seems the wafting waves of the wind have begun to outshine all that starry status. Continue reading
Alec Baldwin: Energy Czar
Took a gander at HuffPo the other day to see what quaint inanities were percolating over there at Libtopia Central. And sure enough, there was a good selection of the feeble, inane, and just plain lame. But taking the first prize in the Huffpo Silliest Soliloquies Contest has to be Alec Baldwin for his Daffy Duck deconstruction of US energy policy.

Wind Farms: The Hot Air Is In The Hype
The UK, in the throes of a very cold winter, had expected its wind farms to generate a decent level of power to help keep the home fires burning. But unfortunately, the alternative power potentates in the UK seem to have forgotten a chilly fact or two: cold weather often brings high pressure and high pressure ofter brings no wind at all. ClimateGate: Man-Made Warming Takes A Plunge
Could it be that global warming has been a big lie? Left-wing mania is in a tissy after a hacker released emails and documents from the Climate Research Unit (CRU) of the University of East Anglia in the UK that seem to indicate a conspiracy to modify and falsify climate data to fit the theory of man-made global warming. Continue reading
