A Salute to Frank Sinatra: That’s Life, Baby

If anyone knew about the ups and downs, the highs and lows of living life, Sinatra sure did. From a scrawny little punk out of Hoboken, New Jersey to a tough enterprising competitor in music, film, and television, Ol’ Blue Eyes held sway over the American public through 6 decades. And Francis Albert Sinatra took crap from no one—he’d bust our politically correct world wide open. Happy Birthday, Frank. Continue reading

The Million Muppet March: A Couple of Hundred Idiots Showed Up

Be at rest, America, for the Million Muppet March is on the move in the make-believe world of Washington DC. Well, maybe not a million, sort of like a few hundred of the old tried-and-true flakey faithful types all still dreaming of that nifty nirvana daze of taxpayer provided milk and honey. The liberal mentality of more, more, and yes even more, in a never-ending faux feast of yuppy self-righteousness, is making itself manifest during the presidential election of 2012. For as we should all know, the public funding of progressive programming is the top-tier topic on every voter’s mind this coming Tuesday. Continue reading

Bart Starr Endorses Romney—Go Packers!

During the course of my football and business careers, I have had the great honor of meeting and associating with many outstanding leaders. This list includes some of the best football coaches of all time and numerous small-business owners. There are certain consistent qualities in each of these men – integrity, unselfishness, vision, dedication, and a willingness to unify individuals into a team – that I see in Governor Mitt Romney. Bart Starr Continue reading

Focus Group in Ohio Shocks CBS Staff

If one picture is worth a thousand words, then what can two photographic mug shots tell us about the demoralized Democrat base? Just take a look at the shocked faces of Charlie Rose and Norah O’Donnell of CBS News on hearing that their debate focus group in Steubenville, Ohio has chosen Mitt Romney as their candidate of choice.

Argo: A Fake Film Saves Lives

Argo: Conservative? Liberal? or Just a Good Movie? Now which reviewer would you say expressed a more open-minded critique of the movie? Which reviewer do you think exhibited a more freer cultural perspective, one that was far less influenced by the foggy filter of ideology? And which reviewer showed a healthy enthusiasm for a great evening of exciting entertainment? Or to put the point much more succinctly, which guy would you rather hang out with for a fun night at the movies? Continue reading

Seriously, The Million Muppet March??

All hail, the Million Muppet March is at hand! Yep, the progressive movement in the United States has just taken a hard left turn onto that dead-end dirt track of political insanity, heading full-force into the wacky ideological wilds of moronic meltdown. The Big Bird Brigade is on the move and coming this November 3rd it will spread its imaginary wings over the National Mall in Washington DC to demonstrate the mighty power of the sycophantic sock puppet. Continue reading

Multimillionaire Ken Burns—Apologist for PBS Funding

Ken Burns, the producer and director of such PBS documentaries as The Civil War and Baseball, and with a new documentary ready to air on PBS this November, has taken to the print media to proclaim his support for the continued funding of public broadcasting. As we all know, Mister Burns is not exactly a disinterested unbiased man-in-the-street when it comes to taxpayer handouts for the free-loading cultural elite at PBS. This guy makes millions from the sale of his products to PBS and their affiliates, profiting from the relationship he has cultivated over the years with this non-profit entity. The PBS outlet also shelters Mister Burns from the horror of hawking his documentaries in the much harder row to hoe of the open market. Continue reading

Obama Dead Ends on Sesame Street

The Obama campaign stupidly thinks that Sesame Street can single-handedly (or should I say single-wingedly) knock the stuffing out of the Republican challenger, Mitt Romney. The campaign’s latest attack ad features the faces of evil people-eating capitalists (Jon Corzine not among them) along side Mitt’s attractive mug in an attempt to link Romney to the great greed machine that will oh so wickedly cut the public paycheck of that PBS yellow-bellied multimillionaire known as Big Bird. Continue reading

Flipping Big Bird THE BIRD

The public television experiment that started out to add a little healthy protein to the carb-drenched diet of the American viewing audience has found itself corrupted by the syrupy feel-good slime of liberal food-for-thought poisoning. The smug political entity that sneeringly expects a taxpayer handout while pretending to provide an unbiased alternative television experience, is just another head of the progressive hydra that uses our tax dollars to drive its political agenda. Time for the Bird Brains at PBS to be pushed out of the taxpayers’ comfy nest. Start flapping your multicultural wings, fellas, for the free ride is almost at an end. Continue reading

The Empty Chair Debate: The New Yorker Concurs with Clint Eastwood

As though standing behind both candidates on stage and facing moderator Jim Lehrer, the New Yorker’s Blitt depicted a sturdy Mitt Romney behind the podium with his arm and index finger extended. For Obama, well, Blitt took a different approach. He drew an empty chair behind the podium, recalling Clint Eastwood’s speech at the Republican National Convention in August, in which the actor spoke to an empty piece of furniture while pretending to converse contentiously with the president.

Andy Williams—Crossing Moon River

Inside Edition, the TV trash program that proffers a nightly dose of Hollywood garbage, did a brief but seemly tribute to Andy Williams this evening, featuring clips from his TV variety show and his Christmas specials. They immediately followed up on the Williams’ commemoration with a piece, and I do mean piece, on that fleshy bundle of slut-stuff know as Lady Gaga. My gosh, the juxtaposition of the truly talented and professional Andy Williams with such a skeevy skank like Gaga just shows how much our culture has been slip-sliding away. Continue reading

Sharia Lite in LA: Cops Appease Muslim Mobs

Did the LA cops put on enough of a public show to share with the global media its intent to crackdown on those who would blaspheme against the pre-medieval ‘prophet’? Did the Obama administration flex enough muscle to make it clear to anyone living in the land of the free and the home of the brave that mugging Mohammed would bring the full force of our Sharia-enabling government goon squad down on their poor benighted head? As a nation, we are pulling down our pants and bending over for a bunch of Third World maniacs. Continue reading

Take Down Video from YouTube? Google Says NO

Google announced on Friday that it will not comply with the White House’s request to remove the anti-Mohammed video from its YouTube site. Freedom of speech or endless pandering to a mob mentality that can never be appeased? Which is it, America? Continue reading

Bob Hope on Zombies and Democrats

The 1940 movie, The Ghost Breakers, starring Bob Hope and Paulette Goddard contains one of Mr. Hope’s funniest political one-liners. At a time when the Democrat party had Franklin Roosevelt comfortably ensconced in the White House eagerly awaiting his 3rd term as President, this Paramount movie production had no misgivings about taking a funny political shot at the party faithful in this classic comedy-horror film. Gee, do you think that would happen today? Continue reading

The fact that Tina Brown, Editor-in-Chief of Newsweek and the Daily Beast, has placed this photo with this caption on the cover of her Lefty publication pretty much sums up the extent of the liberal frustration at this inept and unqualified fraud. Continue reading

News Flash For Conservatives: It’s The Culture, Stupid!

Here’s some strategic conservative wisdom to start off our day compliments of David Gelernter, Professor of Computer Science at Yale and author of America-lite: How Imperial Academia Dismantled Our Culture. Of course, we all know that so many of us Right of Center folks like to stand along society’s sidelines and pompously pontificate about the American cultural scene. And don’t you just love it when conservative commentators shake their heads in absolute puzzlement over the positive polls for the Obama phenomenon? Well, here’s a little perky prod for all your bitching and bewildered bystanders. Continue reading

Assassin’s Creed III: Tea Party Patriotism Sells

Of course, the American Revolution setting for this video game, along with its patriotic values, have put the Left-wing media insiders into an apoplectic tizzy. Scraping every anti-American factoid from their constipated colons, these American culture killers have panned Assassin’s Creed III as nothing more than jingoistic BS. But to their ever-frenzied consternation, the US buying public ain’t buying their quite boring I hate America campaign. They’re buying the video instead. Continue reading

Forget Where’s Waldo, Where’s Fast and Furious?

Featured on the front page at YouTube on Saturday was Philip DeFranco’s latest political and current events video. With close to 500,000 views in just 24-hours, DeFranco’s most recent effort features the Fast and Furious escapade in a 3-minute segment on this 10-minute clip. He gives a fair summary of the story line as well as an equally fair evaluation of its political consequences for Obama. Note that DeFranco states he just heard about the scandal and that the liberal blogs were not covering the story in-depth. Continue reading

Germany Crushes Greece as Merkel Goes Mad

The Greek fans were looking to kick the Germans into the play pitch in a fit of angry payback for the austerity strings attached to the great big bailouts given to them by their more disciplined and financially feasible neighbor to the north. But instead of feasting on the fruits of sweet revenge, these less than Spartan sport fanatics were forced once again to eat Germanic humble pie. Continue reading
