Dump Firefox—Choose Pale Moon

I used to be a very big Firefox fan—really loved this nifty little browser. But wouldn’t you know it, just when I had the whole bloody thing laid out exactly the way I wanted it—SLAM! The marching goosesteps of the Mozilla Technocrats come storm-trooping their way from the Silicon Valley right into my humble little home! Well, the Sieg Heils may be reverberating throughout Lefty La La Land, but here at The Lesbian Conservative, such sycophantic go-along-with-it salutes can not be tolerated. Continue reading

The Mozilla Gay Marriage Mob: The Borg is Upon Us

For failing to be assimilated into the Totalitarian Tolerance Cube by his refusal to drop to his knees and suck the cock of the golden gay marriage idol, Brendan Eich was dragged before the Inquisition of Quisling Corporate Sycophants and found guilty of daring to politically express an opposing opinion. His heresy was further compounded, when under interrogation, he refused to recant his belief in traditional marriage and rejected the pressure placed on him to change his personal and political viewpoint. Within days of accepting the CEO position, the creator/inventor of Java Script was forced out by the very organization he helped to found.

Hopefully, Brendan Eich is now seeking the advice of counsel and weighing his prospects of winning an employment discrimination lawsuit against his erstwhile employer. And based on California employment law, his prospects of successfully suing Mozilla are quite good. Continue reading

UAW CarpetBaggers Tossed Out of Tennessee

The unionizing of the Volkswagen plant in Chattanooga, Tennessee was supposed to be an easy victory for the United Auto Workers. Finding unprecedented support from the management of the plant, the UAW bosses surmised a simple slam-dunk in their first campaign battle to subjugate the recalcitrant, right-to-work South. But surprise, surprise—instead of picking that soiled union label to be forever welded to their wallets, the VW workers, to the shock and chagrin of progressive toadies everywhere, pinned the turn-down tail on this Democrat donkey. Continue reading

Getting Paid to Loaf—A Non-Working Workers’ Paradise

Yep, in our brave new Obama world, many do indeed get paid handsomely to simply loaf for wages. And the paychecks with the most dough for daily doing nothing come imprinted with the stamp of the union label.

Whether it’s billions of dollars for Obama’s greedy needy campaign, better known as the Pay Our Political Cronies stimulus fund, or the financial fiascos of the poor and perpetually pathetic United States Post Office, the ready cash for humankind clunkers keeps flowing and flowing and flowing. Union Goons Attack Reporter in Michigan

Steven Crowder, a Fox News contributor and conservative activist, found himself on the receiving end of union violence and spittle-enhanced obscenities yesterday during demonstrations in Lansing, Michigan. The assault and battery on Crowder and the violent acts committed against others were all playfully described by the mainstream media as a boisterous day in the state capital (Brian Williams, NBC News). Welfare is Sexy—And Europe Leads the Way

Welfare is Sexy as the Graffiti Gangsters declare in this European waterfront frieze. Well, I’m sure the state’s Sozialhilfe has enabled many of these vandals to keep up with their amateur art work. After all, isn’t it the fickle fate of the genuinely creative classes to subsidize the chronically sub-par performance of the fraudulent and the fake? Continue reading

Romney Outwits Rendell

Mitt Romney and his campaign entourage cruised through the Philly suburbs over the weekend. On Saturday, their tour bus was scheduled to stop at a local Wawa, a popular convenience store chain in our area, where Mitt would be on tap to order a sandwich and give a short speech. Well, laying in wait for the Romney team were the not so wily Democrats, led by Mister Ed Rendell, who thought they would get their big chance to disrupt the Republicans’ ride through this so-called Blue State of ours. But things didn’t quite turn out the way Fast Eddie and his Democrat pals thought they would. Continue reading

Apparently, Adidas believes they can best prepare young black men and women for their capable careers by fitting them all with shackle shoes. This corporate giant must feel that their fancy footwear is a perfect fit for every well-dressed future felon. Sort of gives new meaning to that old racist expression, Shuffle Along. When it comes to vacationing in Greece, it seems that the average German tourist is looking elsewhere for his fun in the sun. Citizens living in the northern European country known for its hard work and thrift have decided that spending their well-earned Euros in the land of the layabouts is not the kind of relaxation investment they were looking for. Gee, I wonder why? Continue reading

Britain: Worst Social Mobility in Western World

Can anyone be surprised at the latest study showing that the nanny nation known as the United Kingdom has the worst upward mobility prospects for its citizens than any other Western country? And of course, the obvious solution to this cultural conundrum from a socialist progressive mindset must be more more more governmental intervention into the dead-end lives of the British working classes. Continue reading

Arby’s Hates Conservatives

The fast food chain, Arby’s, doing business under the slogan The Good Mood Food, has created a bit of bad temper in many of its conservative customers. For some bizarre politically motivated reason, Arby’s went out of its way on Wednesday to make it clear to all and sundry that they would no longer advertise on Rush Limbaugh’s radio program. Since most folks in the know thought that the latest Rush riot was officially over, it seemed strange to many in the media that Arby’s was making such a public decision this late in the political news cycle. And with Limbaugh’s announcement the other day that Arby’s has never been an advertiser on his radio program in the first place, this fast food manufactured mystery has only deepened. Continue reading

Philadelphia Law: Don’t Ask/Don’t Tell on Criminal Convictions

Philadelphia’s Ban the Box law goes into effect tomorrow. And this Friday the 13th employment law freakathon is sure to be a big hit with small business owners who now have yet another good reason to pull up stakes and cross the city line into the safer and saner suburbs. Better known as the Fair Criminal Screening Standards Ordinance, this piece of petty larceny legislation prohibits employers from asking on their applications or in their first interviews whether applicants have criminal convictions.
