The Department of Homeland Security has been forced to release the list of keywords and phrases used by their operatives to monitor blogs and social media. From the same bureaucratic friendly folks who gave America such novelty security innovations as the general public pubic pat-down, comes the Homeland’s highly ineffective and inept online search-and-destroy handbook.
After coming under attack from privacy organizations, the agency went nuclear when a Freedom of Information request forced the exposure of their keyword list and the collapse of their internet cloak-and-dagger operations which they insisted was only meant to help fight violence and terrorism in America.
