  1. Perry Palmer says:

I’m really glad you mentioned Christmas in Connecticut. Barbara Stanwyck is my all-time favorite and I like a good romance any day.

  2. Janet says:

My favorites National Lampoon, Christmas Story and Home Alone

    • I especially enjoy Christmas Story–a young boy’s longing for a genuine Red Ryder BB gun. A great portrayal of a mid-west working class family. Jean Shepherd really had the ability to humorously portray authentic Americana.

  3. Lori Heine says:

The Bells of St. Mary’s. And — though not particularly a “Christmas” film, The Lion in Winter (which does take place at Christmas).

  4. Linda says:

Okay, my all time favorite is “It’s a Wonderful Life”. So many lessons there. I also love “The Christmas Story”. Can’t miss, “Rudolf, Frosty, Grinch, Charlie Brown Christmas, and the one with Heat and Snow Miser. That about covers it.
