News flash! Barney Frank is in contract negotiations with the executives of DreamWorks to star in their upcoming Bugs Bunny movie extravaganza. When informed that the studio had already signed a conservative Republican for the Bugs Bunny voice-over, Frank was frantic to grab the Elmer Fudd role for himself. With the opportunity to kick-start a new career and a chance to radically rub out a Right-wing Republican, cinematically speaking that is, Frank felt that the mad Furies of fate were calling his name.
“It was wight before our summer wecess and Hawwy Weid took me aside and infowmed me that the character of Bugs Bunny was going to be played by a wacially insensitive wight wing wepublican!
It is a woll I feel I am weady to begin wehearsing for but the contwact has not yet been signed. I’m not just a public wepwesentative you know. I’m also a wegulaw pewson who is vewy anxious to see justice wetuwned to our movie scweens. If it’s twue that Bugs is now a wacist wight wing wepublican wabbitt…if that is twue, then I will be happy to either put him in pwison or woast him alive!” The Daily Rash Spoofs
As Elmer would say: Huh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh.
I’ve always loved Bugs Bunny. And I think I know what he would have to say about Barney Frank: “What a maroon!”
Agreed!
