I woke up to great news this morning on discovering that the Democrat-controlled public unions had failed in their attempt to take over the Wisconsin State Senate chamber. Hurrah! Power to the People!
We have won yet another hard-fought battle in the war to restore America. Despite spending over $30 million dollars and busing in scores of Astroturf agitators from out-of-state, the unions and their Democrat comrades were still unable to bully and belie their way to victory.
Here is Governor Walker with his observations on the unions’ failed attempt to reshackle the taxpayers of Wisconsin.
Yeah baby, here we come! I work everyday to try to educate people on the evils of unions! I also work from with in the union I am forced to join to be a total thorn in their side! Our union leader hates me and I take that as a compliment!
Good for you, Mary! If they’re forcing you to pay union dues against your will, get your money’s worth. Give em hell, girl!
Yes! As the Gov. said, the VOTERS DO NOT want rhetoric. I see, in that statement and in the results, that more and more Voters are educating themselve on exactly what is going on and happening in our local, state and eventually federal government. How wonderful it would be for our local, state and on to our federal government if, it ALL VOTERS would educated themselves on all the issues, instead of relaying on the confusing “speak” that politicians use to perplex and mislead the common folk. As you said Jeanne, one more battle of the war, won. Slowly, we will get there. We need to keep the momentum going.
2012 here we come!
I know I do not tell you often enough, LC, but I absolutely love your blog. So well written… very enjoyable and always pithy. Thank you!
Thank you so much.
