Geert Wilders, the Dutch Member of Parliament who has been an outspoken critic of the Islamification of the Netherlands, has been found Not Guilty on all counts brought against him under so-called Hate Speech codes. Wilders was charged with inciting discrimination and hatred and insulting a people based on their religion. Prosecutors brought these charges against Wilders after numerous complaints had been made by Muslim and Dutch Left-wing agitators.
The judicial panel reviewing the charges against him examined Wilders’ published articles on the Muslim immigration issue and also dissected his film, Fitna, a documentary that examines the tenets of the Quran. The panel brushed off the various allegations leveled against Wilders by either pooh-poohing his remarks as crude but not punishable or by declaring that his comments and writings were taken out of context.
I believe the panel’s rulings today indicate a turn toward cultural sanity in this small nation of approximately 16 million native Dutch citizens. Just a few years ago, Geert Wilders would have been imprisoned and fined. Today, he is the Netherlands’ most popular politician. Why? Because the multicultural fairytale that has brainwashed Dutch consciousness for the past 40 years has turned into a grisly nightmare threatening the very identity of the Dutch people.
As I wrote in a previous post a couple of weeks back: This tiny land mass of 16,033 square miles, basically the size of Connecticut and Massachusetts, is struggling to preserve its ethnic and cultural identity at a time when the right to do so is only reserved for Third World nations. As the ‘oppressed’ pour into Western countries seeking a better life, their cultural heritage is viewed as sacrosanct by the white ruling progressive class and deemed deserving of expression no matter what the long-term effects on the Western culture hosting these Third World refugees. The multicultural playbook preaches a catechism of counter-colonialism, implanting the insidious seed of a new Dark Ages into the still-beating bosom of our Western heritage.
Well, today we won this battle. But the war continues. Let us praise and support those courageous men and women who raise their voices and risk their lives in this War for Western Civilization.
